All About Math!
We are so excited to be teaching you math this year. It's going to be a great year filled with lots of learning.

There are three different 6th Grade Math teachers: Mrs. Waddell, Mrs. Meyers, and Ms. Wilson.

We have created a website that will hopefully help you when you need a little extra information or help with math. We know how confusing it can be trying to become a great mathematician.

What to Expect in 6th Grade Math
We will be spending a good part of the year working with fractions, ratios, and rates. 6th Grade is an extremely important year in math because we are building the foundations of your knowledge for Algebra. Make sure to always do your assignments and study those items that are troublesome for you. The stronger you build your foundation, the easier your math future will be!

HELP! I don't understand!
It is ALRIGHT to not know how to work a homework problem, but we still want you to try. The more you try, the better you will be able to understand what you are having trouble with.There are plenty of resources to use when trouble arises in math class. Whether it is homework or classwork, we have the websites that can help. Go to any of the ones listed here, or your online textbook which is linked at the top for extra help. Also, Ms. Waddell offers tutoring after school for her students. Check out her website to find out more information.
